Yr4 pairs that total 100,1000

Discussion in 'Primary' started by Jen1983, Sep 15, 2011.

  1. I've got some very bright Yr4 children in my 3/4 class. I know that next week's Pairs that total.... objectives have already been met. What would the next step in their learning be? I'm finding it very hard to keep them challenged and support the year 3s ( some are still at L1) Any advice or suggestions would be great.

    Thanks

Have a look at the framework here:
    http://www.teachfind.com/primary-mathematics-framework
Click on Learning Objectives in the box titled Sections in the Framework (top left)
    Step 1: Choose the Year - 4
Step 2: Choose the strand - knowing and using number facts
    Step 3: Click - go
This will display the objectives in a progression chart. Year 4 in the centre with year 3 to the left and year 5 to the right.
Sorry I can't give a direct link (the address always just displays the front page of the framework) - but hope this is clear and is helpful to you.

  4. I would try pairs that total 1 (decimals to one and two places).
