We've just had an email sent around all staff by a member of SLT that appears to be giving us a telling off for ever being ill, implying that it's a waste of money for anyone to be off for a training course and suggesting that people are taking days off without a valid reason. Ho hum. Obviously it's outrageous for anyone to dare be ill, even if we have had our working day increased and a substantial amount of extra work put on us as a result of new initiatives & policies brought in this term! Anyone else experienced anything like this?!
