I had fun slapping him (I seem to remember that there was a version for teachers) but gave a harrumph when I saw that he was wearing a wig...

There was, indeed, a version for teachers and giving him a good old slapping was a good laugh.

    * Note to mods: I have NO INTENTION of EVER slapping M. Gove in reality.

i had it, and i blew it. there were security bods about, he was 10 feet out of reach, and I hadn't yet been to the event i wanted to go to. if you're gonna get thrown out of westminster, best to do it AFTER you've achieved the actual planned goal of the day...

Unless your planned 'goal of the day' was to slap a) Ed Balls or b) David Cameron then I say you missed an opportunity...

I once moved Ruth Kelly (when she was education secretary) out of the way (saying "Excuse me, love" as I took her gently by the arm and shoved her to one side) in order to escape from a conference. I felt she was too pathetic to even consider slapping her.
