Year out of teaching?...

    You could get back into teaching through supply.

    Good for you!
    I would seize the opportunity with both hands - I assume it pays and you can afford it?
    The fact you will still be keeping yourself involved in teaching is useful, but I've always believed it's good for teachers to have experience in other areas.
    Can I be nosey and ask what kind of thing your new job would be?

    I wouldn't, but then I'm someone who did that and have struggled (and now given up) on getting back into teaching. You can only decide whats best for you, things will work out one way or another xx
