I have been asked to interview at a school I love. The job is in year 6 and requires a thirty minute guided reading lesson. Does anyone have any wow ideas that would involve all abilities?

I will say what I always say, start from your Lesson Objective. Look at the Year 6 reading objectives, choose one and then decide how you would teach that in a guided reason lesson. Would you have separate groups with separate tasks or one class text. That decision will affect how you choose to differentiate.

Do you have any book / text recommendations?

It's best if you come up with your own after having selected your learning objective as the other poster advises.
