Year 6 Leavers Poem

Discussion in 'Primary' started by lpower, Jul 16, 2007.

  1. Hope someone can help - please...

Last year I made some scrolls for my year 6 graduation using a wonderful poem someone had posted. I had my laptop stolen last July and backed up in June so lost the poem. Does anyone remember the poem - it spoke about aspirations for the future and parents and children loved it.

    Grateful for any ideas...

    Thanks

  3. Unfortunately no - I am sure there was another link last year that seems to have disappeared.

    Thanks anyway :)

  4. I cross the bridge
    and leave behind
The world I know so well
    A place without surprises
    So ordinary and dull

    Across the bridge
    what lies there?
    If only that I knew
    A land of possibilities
Where all my dreams come true?

Every bridge I cross in life
Will take me to new ground
Old things will be left behind
But new things will be found.
