A problem with using Mental Maths B for the 2009 tier 4-6 test, is that question 30 is a Pythagoras question which is not in the level 6 syabus.

I know this isn't what you asked for but have you thought about using some of these

To give the student a challenge?

I'd also recommend looking at the Fun Maths Roadshow material, nRich KS2, UKMT junior challenges.
