    Hi,

I am trying to understand what the phases part means in relation to a unit on the national strategies website, especially
    http://nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.gov.uk/node/18878?uc = force_uj
It goes on about some Phases 1-4 and Phases 5-6 - what do these phases mean and are they related to the unit - Year 5/6 Transition unit - Persuasion

Yes, this is for the Transition unit - Persuasion. There are 6 phases or sections to the transition unit. You need to click on 'display all chapters' to see everything. The year 5 teacher covers phases (sections) 1-4 and the year 6 teachers covers phases 5 and 6.
Does this explain what you didn't understand?
