Year 3 maths lesson- HELP PLEASE!

Discussion in 'Mathematics' started by hebahossani, May 27, 2013.

  1. Hi All,

In a few weeks i have to teach 2 maths lessons to a year 3 class. I would ideally like to do it on plotting data/coordinates as this seems to be a 'next step' in many of the childrens books.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how I could make this fun or give me some ideas to make this year 3 friendly as I normally work in yr 6.

    Many thanks.

I'm a secondary teacher but pirate treasure map are always good with the treasures at coordinates or letters on each of the coordinates and writing in codes.
