Year 3 and 4 Creative Curriculum Ideas?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by amberramage, Mar 19, 2012.

  1. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for a topic for a mixed Year 3 and 4 class. I have already covered the Egyptians and Chocolate this year and want to focus on something with a little more geography focus or something that just sounds fun! My school is expecting Ofsted any minute so I want to think of ideas for after Easter so I am well prepared (plus I am getting married over Easter and will not be doing much planning at all!). I'll be focusing on the Olympics for the second part of the term but now need ideas for the first half . If you do have any good ideas and could send me some resources, I would be very grateful! My email is to amber.ramage@gmail.com.Thanks!

I have year 2, but you could do similar. We did Europe leading up to Christmas and are currently doing the Titanic. Both have been fabulous.

  4. They sound great! If you do have any resources that you think might be useful, do you think you could e-mail me them? Thanks :)

  5. When I was 8 we had a lesson about Pepys and I started keeping a diary. I wondered if I did or thought anything that would interest anyone from a history point of view.
