Good, this reassures me! I have some who have moved, but not enough to give them a whole sub level! Just didn't want to have to report and suddenly find i'd been too careful with my levels as has happened in the past!
Some of mine have made a sub-level but I have some very able Y2s who, with teaching in the right areas, grasp new concepts straight away and apply them easily.
I also had the majority of them last year for Year 1 so I knew exactly what their next steps were already.
About a quarter of my class have made a sub-level of progress in ONE area. I always find that by Christmas its most of the class, and the brightest are moving on in more than one area. Sounds pretty normal to me.
