Year 1 Toys Literacy

Discussion in 'Primary' started by annadz, Nov 9, 2011.

  1. Don't forget to use some songs in your Toys topic - go to Out of the Ark Music and take a look at the My World Series Toys & Games book and cd.
  2. I've done work around the idea of a toy being missing or lost but actually think the idea of a burglary might be upsetting for some young children. You could still use the ideas of leaving clues such as footprints to find the lost toy. Speaking as a parent, my year 1 child didn't even know what a burglary was until it happened to our neighbours.
