Year 1 teaching adding a teen number to a multiple of 10????

  3. Are you using hundred squares when doing this? What strategies are you using so far?
     
  4. I have just been getting chn to count on using the hundread square. However, I wanted children to see the pattern 20+17, 40+17 with the tens and the units when assing multiples of tens.
