Year 1 fantasy stories

Discussion in 'Primary' started by 0908law, Apr 14, 2010.

  1. Can anyone recommend a good space film I can use with my year 1's to look at settings?
  2. Wall-E has a kind of space element in it!?
  3. Yes had thought of that also found Lunar Jim from Cbeebies! Any other ideas anyone?
  4. Baboon on the moon is always suggested in government docs for teaching fantasy settings...it has no dialogue so might be good for looking at settings? I've never used it so can't recommend it from experience. We are teaching this unit this term too...focussing on pirates and then castles though...have fun with it!
