I am in the fianl stages of my GTP and have offered to produce the Y6 production this year ... any suggestions - what have you used before? What worked well? What did the children and parents really enjoy?
Have seen School Daze on the t'internet but not sure if it is any good ? Any suggestions?
I know I must buy a script and the rights to perform it at school and am really looking for a KS2 play specifically written for children.
    Thanks

Have you looked at all theat Edgy Productions have to offer:
    http://www.edgyproductions.com/index.html
We did Lights, Camera, Action as a Summer Production from their list. It was good, but we did personalise it.
You'll need to apply for a license http://www.edgyproductions.com/about/licences.html - we took option 2 which only cost £25.
If you do some of the 'bigger' shows, it is in the T&Cs that you don't make alterations to the script. They are usually pretty strict about this and could turn up to watch your show to check!

  4. We did Alice in Wonderland last year from out of the ark, was really reasonable with the rights. This year we are doing Hoodwink *Robin Hood* from Out of the Ark, music really easy to learn and fun to do!

  5. Has anyone else used 'School Daze'? I would be interested to hear what you thought of it if so.
