I had thought of that- 'Year twos got talent'. But the children love X-Factor, and love performing on our schol stage. I have done some planning, focusing on dance from different countries, creating a new theme tune for X-Factor although struggling with the art objectives.

Design and make a simple outfit for their performance?
Use wire and modroc to create sculptures of figures in different dance positions? or clay?

Could you look at the artist Keith Harring? His figures are very simple and children could draw/paint similar figures doing dance moves?
Or use 2animate and paint the simple figures doing a dance sequence!
