www.lgfl.net ???? Can't get on

Discussion in 'Primary' started by anon1359, Jan 10, 2011.

  1. I found some really good resources on this site over the Christmas holidays. Now I'm trying to find them again and either can't find them or they are blocked. Is this site available to teachers in different LEAs????

  3. Thanks marlin, but not what I was looking for. I found some information about literacy subject knowledge i.e.
    http://www.lgfl.net/lgfl/leas/merton/accounts/curriculum/primaryenglish/homepage/English%20Subject%20Knowledge%20For%20Teachers/
    But no luck there now.
Also there was lots of good materials to support writing at KS 2. I found it when I did a google search for Pie Corbett. It was fairly near the top of the google search, but now I can't find any reference to it.
Typical! I should have downloaded it when I found it!

I can't seem to force a way to retrieve what you found. However I did find this page and wondered if it might be useful from the National Strategies site - Talk for Writing.
    http://nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.gov.uk/node/154527?uc = force_uj
It seems to be INSET training by Pie Corbett - most of the videos are of him demonstrating language games.

Best searching I can do - sorry if it's been of no use to you.
