Writing and reading across the areas

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by melh42, Aug 21, 2015.

  1. Hi,

Our school has a large foundation unit made up of 3 reception classes, all opened up and with zoned areas. We share each area between the 3 classes so they are fairly big in size!

I have toned down my classroom to help prevent distraction from children, and for those with SPD or ASD. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas or thoughts about introducing reading and writing opportunities within these areas without making it too cluttered?

I have a writing, small world, small construction, cooking, messy play/sensory, computer areas and a quiet zone.
