Worries about the health clearance

    It shouldn't affect you. So long as you declare it, you'll probably be asked to speak with someone about it and so long they're satisfied that you are still fit for the work involved - which it seems like you are - it shouldn't be a problem.

    I too am on anti-depressants and this is the advice I was given.

  2. Just to add that while it may be ok in the end, depression will always be taken seriously and the occupational health unit will take it up. So expect to have to give consent for them to contact your GP for a report (unless you've already done it), and maybe to be invited for a chat with an OH nurse or doctor. No need to get worried, but you should know what to expect, and be prepared.
