Lalad, I just saw your post from September. Just wanted you to know I am thinking of you. xxx

So good to see "old" names and see how you are all getting on. Big hugs to you all! xxx

Sorry I missed this 2bgr8. In the end they decided that to operate would be inappropriate. He has had radiotherapy and seems ok, with not too much pain - he and my mum celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last week, and we certainly didn't expect that this time last year. Otherwise life is pretty much as it always seems to be these days - one crisis after another. How are things with you? Lalad xx

Sorry to hear that life is still throwing so many things at you Lalad. I hope that you and your family found some peace this holiday. I don't check in here so much any more but think of everyone often. To think that you were all such a lifeline for me.
How are you 2bgr8? Apologies for not being able to keep up the chat. Sometimes I hit a real down and struggle to keep going. Did you have a good Christmas break? x

What a lovely surprise to pop in here and see you both posting - how is your mum, Acky?

Sadly, both my parents have now passed on, but in other respects life has become much calmer and my youngest moved out this year so it's just me in the house - which takes a bit of getting used to!

Lonneymiss and 2bgr8, I hope you are both ok too; hard to believe another three years have gone by.

    Lal x

Hello Lalad I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your parents. I haven't been very good at posting... been busy with my mum. Her Alzheimer's has progressed so much that she is in a home now. Unfortunately the disease has made her quite confrontational and she may need to move to a more specialist dementia unit because she is physically attacking the staff and shouts abuse at everyone... not my mum any more!

I know what you mean about being alone in the house. I'm quite used to it now but I do love when people come to visit. I also inherited a 13 year old cat with attitude. I said I'd mind her for 6 months and now she's here to stay.

It is so good to hear from old friends on here.

    Take care xxx

Worried Sick was a lifeline to so many of us. I am sitting here chatting about it with Acky so many years on . We are wondering who is still on TES that remember us? X

I often think about everyone on here. I kind of lost my posting ability after my husband died... I didn’t want to bring all my negativity to people who were trying to stay positive. Life has changed but feeling good again. Both DQAcky and Little Acky got married in the summer. My mum has Alzheimer’s and is in a home now. I’m busy with work and just back from a lovely weekend with Margey. Love to everyone from this special thread x

Thanks for posting Norsemaid and copycat. The support on the thread was so important to me as I recovered from my cancer. I have been so lucky to have a special friend in Acky and We are hoping to meet up with Lonneymiss next year . I have four lovely grandchildren now and I have beaten the odds to be one of the 1% who survive Pancreatic cancer for more than ten years. Life is good . Love to everyone xx
