World War One commemoration for French classes

Discussion in 'Modern foreign languages' started by lyoung888, May 30, 2014.

  1. I would like to develop some activities for commemorating World War One. I was thinking of letters from French soldiers, ideally for whom I had biographical details. Can any recommend any websites or resources for year 8/9? (S2 and S3 in Scotland)?

Hi, it's not a letter, but there is a poem by Jacques Prévert called "Familiale" which I'm pretty sure is written about WWI. It could be interesting to study.

Thanks, I will use Familiale with my students aged 10 and up when I supply in the fall.
