Yesterday was world ballet day. I had a quick pirouette around the lounge.

After 30 odd years of teaching, I'd be amazed at some of the things kids had to say about me, I'm sure. Mostly positive, I'd hope!

UK teachers will celebrate the day by filling in evidence and colouring it red, yellow and green! (Isn't that what teachers do these days?!)

The teachers I remember the best are the ones who were passionate about their subjects and a bit unusual, ready to digress and talk about something that arose from the topic. No time for that nowadays, am so glad to be in TEFL these days, rather than stuck in front of 30 bored teenagers, whilst 'delivering the national curriculum'!
