As some of you may be aware tonight is World Book Night. A little more about it here if you are not familiar: http://www.worldbooknight.org/ I'm lucky to have been selected as a Book Giver for the event and as such I have copies of Erich Remarque's 'All Quiet on the Western Front', a classic account of the war from a German point of view, which later inspired the film (or films if you include the 70s one). More on the book here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Quiet_on_the_Western_Front As part of this event I have Four (4) copies of the book to give away here on the forum. The books will be given to the first four UK Members who post below asking for a copy of the book on the following conditions: 1.They live in the UK 2.Each book has a code number in the back; log on the World Book Night website and register that you have the book. 3.Read the book! (obviously!) 4.Having read the book re-post here to pass it on to someone else or give it to someone else where you live, at your work place etc and ask them to log on to the World Book Night website to register it, and hopefully they will pass it on, too. The latter is part of the long-term ethos of the event to keep passing the books on. When the first four people have posted below I will contact them by PM for their home address and post the book to them early next week.
