    Hi all

We are thinking of going off curriculum on World Book Day and having a day of book related fun.

Aside from the usual dressing up as a character from a book, what other activities are you planning or have seen before that have worked? I'm new to teaching so would appreciate your ideas.

    Thanks
    David

  3. All children love a story carousel. Each member of staff chooses a story to read . Children then choose which story they'd like to hear. You get completely mixed ages. You can split by Key Stage if you like. Groups are relatively small because all staff read. We've had them in corridors, halls, classrooms, library, kitchen everywhere. parents can be involved too if you have enough space to put them.
