Real Time apparently came out when I was born. I'm guessing that prior to that they used pretend time.

Well I wasn’t expecting exactitude, but taking two random items from mine (AA Battery and Gunnery Sergeant) and Googling their history identifies both as being use (and hence print) many many decades before me.

I remember my mother telling me that on the day I was born, the doctor told her that Hitler had decided not to come to Britain but had sent his troops instead to Russia (a big changing point in the war). He told my mother the had heard of my arrival and couldn't face Britain any longer, ha ha Perhaps he was right.
