    As some domestic dogs have evolved from tamed wolves there must have been a reason at some point, although they probably didn't eat cabbages back then.

    You didn't miss anything.
    Those people are correct.
    I would take no action over this.
    This matter also requires no action.
    Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. I don't even remember if I watched it to the end. If I did, I'm fairly sure I watched it at 9 x normal speed after about half an hour, in line with my established tedious-film-video-cassette-recorder protocol. Such a strategy worked well for Three Colours Blue.
