WJEC psychology GCSE

Discussion in 'Social sciences' started by huwbies, Sep 8, 2011.

  1. Hi,
i am thinking about teaching GCSE Psychology after school to some bright year 9 pupils. The school (being welsh) is a big fan of the WJEC so i have been encouraged to use them as the exam board. Although the content seems very good and potentially enjoyable, there seems to be a lack of resources and text books.
Does any one have any advice? should i stick to WJEC or use a different exam board?

  2. hi!
i was thinking of doing the same. the WJEC seems far more interesting! i wish they offered a short course!
How much teaching time will u have? are you doing it in one year or two? will you enter them in the Jan or wait til June?
    MK x

  3. sorry i was talking about the Edexcel course!!
