WJEC IT4 standard ways of working

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by naturalcynic, Apr 24, 2011.

  1. Do candidates entering coursework for the IT4 database project still need to include evidence that they have created dated backups, used sensible file names and folder structures, created a Gantt chart, etc? I can't see a mention in the marking criteria.

  2. No, they haven't had to do that since the new spec was introduced a couple of years ago.

  3. Thanks Welshman, that's what I thought. However the specification says on page 34 that candidates must "include a project time plan". For the other items in the spec - observe copyright etc - how do they show this, or is it just implied that they will have worked to these standards during their coursework?
