Are you concentrating on S&L, reading or writing? Do you have a whole topic on Winnie the Witch or just literacy lessons?
What have your class already done? What skills do they need to work on?
Are you using the picture books or the chapter books?
What do you actually want to teach your class?
No-one can really help without having some idea about these things.
A whole week of colouring in in literacy lessons... Could justify it as handwriting skills! Love it!
Interview Winnie or the cat (is it Wilbur?)? Rewrite the story from the cat's perspective? Write spells? Recipes for potions?
damn wrong link
this should be it
Awww I was loving the first one!
It did have a speech bubble
It's too short notice for you now if you are doing your work this week, but we once had Korky Paul visit our school to talk (and draw!) to the children. Perhaps if you decide to use the book again it is something to think about. He was brilliant.
