Will there be any jobs this year????

Discussion in 'Further Education' started by ryu22, Mar 6, 2011.

  1. I'm currently on an English with Media PGCE course and since starting the course I really want to teach at A level. There seems to be a lot of cut backs this year, however, and I'm starting to think I should just be happy enough to get a job. Does anyone know what the situation is in FE and whether jobs will start to come up? Or should I give up on the dream now?!

  3. Don't give up your dream! FE is going to be a tough sector, financially, for a while yet but jobs will come up. Perhaps there won't be as many but people still move around the country, retire, quit and get sacked so keep looking out for the adverts.
    Good luck.
