Will Johnson struggle to get enough cabinet members?

I see Sir Alan Duncan has resigned over the prospect of Bozo becoming PM, adding his name to other ministers who don't want to be tarnished by serving in a Johnson government. It would be unwise for Johnson to appoint Michael Elphicke, now he's been charged with sexual offenses.

It's all looking good for those of us who are hoping for an early GE and to see the back of this incompetent rabble at the earliest opportunity.

Maybe Brexit can be reversed after all?

Small point - it's Charlie Elphicke!

You're thinking of this chap (who would have made a better MP than the one representing Dover,IMHO!)

Of course he won't have a problem. The self serving trough feeders will be queueing up!

There will be any number of Tories willing to take a post at the top table.

A different question altogether is whether he will be able to fine enough quality, competent ministers, but we've got used to the lack of those now.

If he cannot retain enough MPs with experience, his administration will be beset with too many new ministers finding their feet. It does not bode well for Boris as he famously relies on other people to do the work whilst he grabs the glory and the photo opportunities.

What's the betting he has to offer that idiot Graying a job?

UPDATE: Conservative whips confirm to me that Charlie Elphicke is now suspended again from the party, following the news that he faces 3 charges of sexual assault. Several, including

What's the current state of the Tory majority? With Elphicke's little local difficulty, and a likely crushing defeat in Brecon & Radnor, am I right in saying it is down to 2 INCLUDING the 10 DUP MPs, and surely there must be a number of Tories poised to jump ship to the Lib Dems or to stand as Independents rather than help BoJo usher through a no-Deal Brexit?

He could be a record breaking prime minister.

He looks like possibly being on track to break the record for the shortest term of office in the history of the UK

The cabinet will feature such brilliant people like Drunken-Smith, that vile Patel woman, fellow adulterer Truss and "banzai" Williamson and other nutty luminaries.

    Perhaps he'll bring Cameron back.

Since he is too lazy to do the job properly and it will fall to others to do all the graft - makes you wonder what the point of him is.

...and if the going gets tough...he will be off.

He just wants the glory - he should never have been given this opportunity (especially now).

I wonder if they will come thicker and faster for Johnson.

I reckon he will manage to get enough, but keeping them could prove much harder.

    It's going to be fantastic.

Climate breakdown, Brexit breakdown, Boris breakdown...

We won't see times like these again.

It's going to be awful - and nationally very embarrassing.

How much damage will he manage to do - who knows.

    This should not have happened.

Very unlikely. As his deputy, Michael Ellis, said last week - Chris Grayling's record speaks for itself. :(

Some wag has calculated that the country could save £3 billion if BoJo gets rid of Grayling. He probably won't even have enough sense to resign before being sacked like all the others.
