Will I move up?

I am on M3 at present. I started my post last Sept on this point, and was unfortunately off sick from December until 26th June (3 lots of abdominal surgery required and still on medication). I don't expect to move up to M4 as I haven't been working, but have been paid for most of the year, and went on to half pay in May. I am currently on a phased return until the end of the term and start the new term afresh.

Just wondered if I was going to be lucky?

You'll move up the payscale because you are ona contract and have been employed for at least 26 weeks in the school year.
Thsoe on maternity leave with the same attendance at school would also progress up the payscale.
