Why would I be interested in 'people who ignore me'?

Or for that matter 'likes I have received'?

I still can't find my 'watched' thread. I am assuming 'watched' is the new name for favourite?

And why am I a new contributor. There ain't many older than me on here.

It's all fresh start clean slate thingy Blazer I think. Re the 'watched threads' if you click the blue 'watch thread' at the top right of the thread, then you should be able to find it again by clicking the 'watched threads' link at the very top of the page (you need someone who can do screen shots and draw red boxes round the relevant bits, which I can't do...)

I think the current terminology is factory reset. All defaults restored and all data erased.

what happens if you ignore a poster... you can't see their posts is it? You get to know who is ignoring you do you?

And yet, weirdly, I've just had blast as a result on clicking on my username and being transported to threads on MFL dating from 2005 (its heyday, I would say).
    Great fun re-reading those.

You can ignore people? That's a big improvement then.

Could somebody explain "points" to me? Points of view? Arguments I've won (sorry, discussions in which my position was upheld)? Do points make prizes? How do you win them?

Thanks Lizzie... think I get it.
Yes Sooty, ignoring might well solve a few potential problems!

Or will everyone be tempted to peek at what they have been ignoring??

I think the ignore poster feature is one of the best innovations. I wonder though whether some threads will become like the production I read about where the actor playing Hamlet was taken ill so they went ahead without him. :)

OK I click the watched threads and a list of threads appear, some of which are my watched ones. How do I then get to that thread? Clicking on the thread in the list does nothing.

Is this site even more **** than the one it replaced?
