Just preparing for an interview, and have been thinking about this question. What i want to say to it is is: because im the best!!!
    How would you answer it?
  2. talk about your enthusiasm, examples of creative lessons you have taught, what you look forward to being able to give to the school whether it be extra curricular clubs, a particular specialism or maybe something else, your confidence, if you want to further your career, gain more experience, how you get on with chidlren, how you understand them...
I had this question in one of very first interviews and was completely stumped as i thought i'd already answered it through my other answers so was at a loss, but i now use it as an opportunity to go over anything that i've already said, to remind them. ive found that this question often gets asked towards the end of the interview, so its a great opportunity to do this!
good luck with the interview x

If you think of it as trying to tell them what they will gain from appointing you, ie what you will do for them, it is easier to think of things. Look at all their current documentation and what they are working on and let them know how you can fit into that. They want to appoint you because you will do great things at their school, not because you have done good things in the past.

You do need to have decided the answer to thibefore the interview. Before you start writing the application ideally!
It's a great question, your chance to tell them WHY you are the best! And we cannot tell you that, you need to work it out yourself.
    Best of luck.
