Admittedly there is little more annoying than spending ages giving detailed advice to find the OP had the issue in May 2012!

Because they have more content and interest than some new threads being started?

Well if you're referring to my reply to modelmaker's poetry thread, it was because I hadn't seen him post in a while and failed to notice the date!

Admittedly the blocked chimney had substantial content.

He uses a different name and posts most days. Do try to keep up, dear.

I got drawn into the weather poem one as well.

If he uses a different name, I'm useless at 'spotting' people's styles!

He's grand and old and he had 10,000 men.

That must be why I've found his posts so entertaining. Thank you @Lascarina.

I thought some people were having issues with the way TES was displaying the order of threads? and then responding to them before realising they were ancient

I once resurrected a thread about someone asking for help with appraisal and capability...

Thought it might be useful to discuss as it had zero replies at the time.

Oh, how pertinent it turned out to be.

Even if you missed the unmissable style - length gives him away;)

Because they are updating the threads.

In old TES were old threads usually upped in order to create some kind of mischief? Especially when an old thread was resurrected by a "new" poster!
