Does anyone know who the nuns were, who were sitting next to the happy couple in Westminster Abbey? I thought the Church of England didn't have nuns!

  2. Not all the guests were CofE.

  3. They do

Do the C.of E. nuns have to take the same vows as R.C. ones?

The taller one in the reebok trainers was an M15 agent in disguise.

  6. Can C of E nuns be married? (Their priests can, can't they?)

    according to on group
Their habits indicate they're members of the Community of the Sisters
of the Church, an Anglican order of nuns in England, Canada, Australia,
and the south Pacific. One of them is chaplain to the Westminster
Abbey, which would explain the primo seats - not sure about the other.
mind you a few others reconthey are fashion plice.bad examples of footwar enthusiats.ie they were wearing trainers
ors think they were there to make sure the arch bish dont get it wrong!

I hope that link works if you copy and paste it.
Anyway, there's plenty of stuff online about Anglican nuns.

  15. I admire nuns.
I am far too selfish to live that life.

  16. CQ, have you read 'Body and Soul' by Marcelle Bernstein. It's about a nun who leaves her very strict enclosed order to run the family textile film after her brother's car accident. Seem to remember she was a CofE nun.
