Who oversees the local authority Early Years advisors these days?

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by nismat, May 14, 2015.

  1. I've been out of the classroom for a while (at home with my own kids) and just wondering: What is the national structure now in Early Years? There used to be local authority advisory teams (which still exist, in various forms) and then above htat there was a National Strategies Team, which I think was shrunk or disbanded. Is there anything now above the EY advisors. Perhaps there's a department at the DfE? Where do EY Advisors get their info, advice & training from these days? Thanks x
