who can I visit? challenging behaviour and severe SEN/Autism

Discussion in 'Behaviour' started by lovellshallschool, Nov 9, 2012.

  1. Hi,
I am working in a very small school (4 pupils) as the only
teacher for pupils with severe SEN (all have a diagnosis of Autism plus
other issues) and challenging behaviour. All pupils are functioning at
below age 2 developmentally for emotional/behavioural and communication
abilities, but are age 11 to 19 years old.
    I would really like
to visit another school /teacher/unit that works with pupils of this
'type' as I am struggling to find other teachers to bounce ideas off and
would like to share and see other practice to help me do my job
    better!

Any schools/teachers out there?? I'm in the East of England but will travel for the experience.
    Thanks

Did you ever find anyone? Are you still in that line of work? I am in a similar setting...
