A brochure arrived in the post today addressed to the previous occupant. It was full of overpriced cheap tat that can be viewed online here: http://www.bitsandpiecesuk.co.uk/

They offer all manner of ridiculous things such as mugs that make cat, puppy or frog noises when you pick them up. A snip at £9.99.

Do you need a jeans planter like this? [IMG]
Well this is the place you can get one and it only costs £54.99

Are you a jigsawerist? Then this will be perfect for you.

For a mere £159.99, you need never fear time will defeat you completing a puzzle again.

They have hundreds of out of the ordinary items you never realised you needed. Can I take the recession is over and these are the sort of things that high-earners aspire to?

My mother in law used to buy them!

I always preferred the spoof ones that appeared in Viz!

I love this kind of catalogue! I wouldn't actually buy most of the stuff they sell, but some of it is quite cool, and every so often you find a gem that would make a great gift. The jigsaw table is something I would buy for a family member if it wasn't so overpriced.

My Dad has a roll-up jigsaw mat and finds it quite useful. I agree about most of the useless tat though.

I had an Ovaltinies mug once, free with coupons from Ovaltine. it used to sing the Ovaltinies song when you lifted it - until it went bonkers and started singing in the dark in the cupboard. I had to smash it.

That planter is sick. (Not in a SE London teenage slang way.) SICK.

Gardeners - fed up with waiting until your toddler suffers a hideous accident?
For only £54.99 you can buy our novelty planter NOW, and it's less messy.
