Hi, I am keen to start using White Rose Maths with my Year 2 class from September. We were due to have training this term which had to be cancelled for obvious reasons.

I have spent time looking into it online and have read through old threads on here but I am still pretty clueless about where to start if I'm honest.

If anybody has any advice on the basic structure of maths lessons, differentiation, the different levels of mastery, how pupils' work is recorded etc, I would be very grateful Also, I teach Year 2 in Wales (Foundation Phase) which means we generally don't teach whole-class maths lessons. Would White Rose Maths be suitable?

    Thanks in advance x

There should be a WR year 2 FB group which will be helpful.
I used to be in a year 3 one and am now in a reception one.
