I've recently joined a school that uses the White Rose mastery approach and I've read through the block unit plans for Year 6. It clearly show good ideas for possible question prompts and problems that could be asked for the varied fluency. However, I'm really struggling badly with the nuts and bolts of the actual modelling of the maths; the concrete, pictoral and abstract strategies that I should actually show and work through with the children. I just cant seem to find any actual examples of these anywhere. Does anyone have experience of this scheme and how it should look when modelled. Perhaps a calculation policy that shows the strategies that White Rose is supposed to support? Thanks for your help!

WRH has a calculation policy that models the CPA for age appropriateness.

I downloaded it fron the TES WRH resources.
