We are successfully using the White Rose Maths (WRM) scheme in school and are seeing improvements in the children's understanding of concepts and their reasoning skills. The only downside is that we can't standardise the children's raw scores from their WRM assessments. We can use the outcomes to inform planning etc but really want to obtain standardised scores. We have been using PUMA tests as well, but as the content of these do not match the WRM curriculum they are pretty much useless, except the summer test which was useful as a summative assessment. So, does anyone know if WRM are planning to produce a conversion table? Or is anyone using a suitable assessment that links with the WRM curriculum? I work in a primary school. Thanks.
