White Rose Maths assessment - standardised scores.

We are successfully using the White Rose Maths (WRM) scheme in school and are seeing improvements in the children's understanding of concepts and their reasoning skills.
The only downside is that we can't standardise the children's raw scores from their WRM assessments. We can use the outcomes to inform planning etc but really want to obtain standardised scores.
We have been using PUMA tests as well, but as the content of these do not match the WRM curriculum they are pretty much useless, except the summer test which was useful as a summative assessment.
So, does anyone know if WRM are planning to produce a conversion table? Or is anyone using a suitable assessment that links with the WRM curriculum? I work in a primary school.

I doubt very much that WRM will be standardising their assessments. This would involve a huge amount of time and money.
One way to go would be to make more use of teacher assessments alongside teaching the units and then use a standardised test such as PUMA at specific intervals across the year to provide evidence of 'progress', if this is needed. There will always be a mismatch unless you are teaching the matched content, but the tests will give you a 'score' if nothing more.

The basis of any ‘scheme’ should be the National Curriculum and the the expectations for a particular year group. We draw upon a range of resources, if we need to, including WRM, Hamilton, our own stuff etc., and use termly Puma assessments to track progress. If you’re covering the NC, allowing for progression through the strands across the year, standardised Puma tests (or any other) shouldn’t really be a problem.

I tweeted them and asked. They said they wanted to and were working on it but they don’t expect it to be out this coming academic year as it takes ages.

Can someone post the link to access the White Rose assessment tests please?

    Thank you
