Whip lash

Discussion in 'Personal' started by dancing daisy, Nov 30, 2011.

  1. Hi

I was recently involved in a car accident where I was crashed into whilst stationary. My car has been written off as the damage was quite extensive and would cost more to fix than what it was worth. After the accident I went to get checked over and was advised I have a whiplash injury aswell as lower back pain. I have been taking some paracetamol and ibuprofen, using heat packs etc. Due back at the doctors at the weekend to get some stronger tablets, not finding it easy to sleep at the moment.
I know every case is different but just wondered if anyone has suffered with this and if you could recommend anything that may help with the pain/discomfort. A friend suggested accupuncture but I am not sure what to do.
    Thank you all
