Which exam board for Functional Skills?

Has anyone recently reviewed their choice of exam board for Functional Skills English, all levels? With the change in the specification and with the difficulties at OCR, we're currently looking at options. Any thoughts would be welcome, in particular with respect to accessibility of the questions by the students.

Try edexcel for functional skills as I hear the exam.layout and questions are easy for students to understand

We have gone to Edexcel, they are a lot more student friendly than C&G imo.

I’m not an expert on Functional Skills by a long way, but I’ve found AQA’s new specification exams to be nice and accessible.

    Hi Carl,

Do you use a textbook/workbook at all? I am looking for one to use.
