where can I find resources in Spanish related to the Olympic Games 2012?

Discussion in 'Modern foreign languages' started by moonlight35, Mar 22, 2012.

  1. I have looked in the resources here but can't find anything specific about it. Somebody mentioned in an earlier thread 'espanol extra' but in there i can only find a very long (6 pages) vocabulary list.
    Thanks in advance

PS I remember the official site of the World Football Cup 3 years ago in South Africa publising some great resources

At the Languages and ICT Conference in Southampton (#ililc2) recently, I went to an excellent presentation by Amanda Salt about designing a unit of work for the Olympics, and her language is Spanish. You can view her presentation via her blog: http://amandasalt.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/ililc2-languages-and-olympics.html She had loads of really good ideas and links. I've been working on sports and the Olympics with my upper KS2 since January, and you can download the resources I've done so far from here http://www.sunderlandschools.org/mfl-sunderland/resources-pr-sp.htm#sports Hope this helps.
