Hi there thanks for your replies i found an old threat and called the pensions people and got it from them.
Its really annoyed me though as its exactly the same as the GTC reference number!!!!
That's why I said it was on your GTC card!
Yeah but the application form was asking for the DfES number and GTC reference number seperately.
Thats just a waste of ink
Obviously an old application form. They used to be different numbers. My LA is about to redesign app forms- we had cupboards of them to use up first though!
Yes I need to find my DFeS number as I haven't taught in UK since 2005 and have been living in Australia since then. My UK paperwork is somewhere in storage and I have now been approached to apply for a teaching job in the UK - please could Capita let me know my old number asap?
