Where are the teacher shortages? I’m struggling to find a post and considering other areas. Any suggestions most welcome.

China. There are lots of bilingual or "international" schools that need new teachers.

Different areas for different reasons. Rural areas struggle.

Same here! I’m fed up hearing there’s a shortage. I’m an English teacher in the north east and no shortage there!!

As a head in the SW and having worked here all my life, I’ve never known a shortage of teachers in Cornwall. Quite the opposite in fact. I always thought anecdotally that the South-East and West Midlands were ‘easier’ to get a post in with London the most straightforward of all.
