Where are the full archived copies of the National Strategy Units in Literacy and Maths?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by lsmith33, Aug 7, 2011.

  1. I am a student teacher and I have just logged on to the Primary National Strategy site to try and download the units in Literacy and mathematics. I have seen that some have them have been archived, however I can only access some of the units (about 7 in total). I was wondering whether anyone knew where I could find the full units in both Literacy and maths (including complete teaching sequences, assessment etc) / or if anyone downloaded the PDF files when the site was running and could possibly send them to me (which would be great!).
    Thanks :)

It isn't that difficult to google "National Strategies archive"

  4. Actually, the site you mention doesn't appear to have all the information on there. I have tried to access stuff from it several times and it has some bits but is missing large swathes of other stuff. Thanks Mr Gove.

  5. Cumbria grid for learning, lancs grid and bexley web fronter (to name just a few) all have the strategies fully downloaded on their sites.

Here is a good starting point for numeracy at the Cumbria Grid for Learning:

It has all the National Strategy blocks. I'm having teh same problem with the terrible National Archive.

I would imagine Cumbria have full literacy support too.

Wishing you all the very best with your teacher training!
