When should I get my first pension payment?

i retired last Friday (hurray) and my lump sum landed in my bank on Saturday. My birthday is on the 7th, so I believe I should get my monthly pension on the 6th, which is tomorrow (Saturday).
Should I therefore get the payment today or do I have to wait til Monday? Or, will I get nothing this month and have to wait til May?

Probably wait a month and it’s not the pension for the whole month just the pension from your retirement date until your birthday date. I got surprised by that when my first payment was two weeks worth not a month’s worth.
